Dr. Petsche is a board-certified sports medicine orthopedic surgeon who specializes in evidence-based, data-driven care for sports, occupational, and overuse injuries in patients of all ages.

Prioritizing conservative care, he emphasizes patient education and non-surgical solutions, such as physical therapy, activity modification, and targeted injections, whenever possible. When surgery is required, Dr. Petsche performs minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, knee, and elbow, as well as complex surgeries like cartilage transplants and revision reconstructions.

A former Division 1 Big Ten championship swimmer and diver at the University of Michigan, Dr. Petsche leverages his personal background as an accomplished multi-sport athlete to relate directly to his patients and optimize their return to active living.
