Joining Fox Valley Orthopedics in early 2023, Ret works alongside Dr. Kenneth Chakour to treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions and injuries. Certified by the NCCPA since 2019, Ret brings a dedicated, patient-first philosophy to every interaction. As a physician assistant, he evaluates patients independently in the clinic, manages diagnostic imaging, and assists in the operating room. Ret takes the time to truly listen to his patients, crafting treatment plans that fit their specific lifestyles and recovery goals. When he’s off the clock, Ret loves staying active outdoors with his wife, son, and their two Labradors, whether he’s playing tennis, running, swimming, or catching a college basketball game.

Physician assistants are versatile clinicians in our practice. They can perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries, order and interpret lab tests, perform minor procedures, assist in surgery, and provide patient education. They extend the ability of our surgeons to care for our patients. PA-C is an acronym for Physician Assistant–Certified, meaning they have their medical licenses and have passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying exam, among other requirements, before receiving the medical license designation “PA-C”.
