A St. Charles native, Alexis works alongside Dr. Craig Torosian to help patients find relief from painful hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions. As a board-certified physician assistant, she evaluates patients in the clinic, orders diagnostic imaging, and assists Dr. Torosian in surgery. Alexis prides herself on creating an approachable, reassuring environment where patients feel heard throughout their care. An active hiker who has conquered the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim four times, she brings that same endurance and enthusiasm to helping her patients recover and stay active.

Physician assistants are versatile clinicians in our practice. They can perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries, order and interpret lab tests, perform minor procedures, assist in surgery, and provide patient education. They extend the ability of our surgeons to care for our patients. PA-C is an acronym for Physician Assistant–Certified, meaning they have their own medical licenses and have passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying exam, among other requirements, before receiving the medical license designation “PA-C”.
