Fox Valley Orthopedic Surgeons Make the National US News Top Doctors’ List

With the kids heading back to school and sports activities, choose an orthopedic surgeon from the national US News Top Doctors’ list.

GENEVA, IL – This summer, two Fox Valley Orthopedic (FVO) surgeons made the US News Top Doctors’ list. This honor places doctors Kevan Ketterling and Craig Torosian in the top ten percent of physicians nationally. But they’ve been considered to be outstanding by Fox Valley patients for years, according to FVO patient satisfaction surveys.

US News Top Doctors is a searchable directory listing nearly 30,000 peer-nominated physicians across the United States. The list was compiled from a database of physicians recommended for their clinical skills; a physician-led research team has appraised every Top Doctor on the list.

Dr. Kevan Ketterling has cared for thousands of tri-city athletes, weekend warriors, and sports enthusiasts working to get back into play. A sports medicine specialist, Ketterling serves as team physician for the Kane County Cougars as well as St. Charles East and North High Schools. He has also been active in the community, organizing sports physicals for local high school athletes for nineteen years. A frequent contributor of sports injury articles to both the medical community and the press, Ketterling is also the author of several journal articles on sports medicine.

Dr. Craig Torosian is known for his innovations in hand surgery, as well as non-invasive alternatives. His areas of expertise involve hand, elbow, and microsurgery, with a special interest in complex upper extremity surgeries. As the author of numerous articles on hand surgery and children’s orthopedics, Torosian is a prolific lecturer on a diverse range of orthopedic topics.
