Amanda works alongside Dr. Hernandez to provide comprehensive, compassionate care for both adult and adolescent orthopedic patients. As a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, she sees patients independently for clinical evaluations, diagnostic imaging, and pre-operative exams. Amanda takes a holistic approach to patient health, specializing in bone health and osteoporosis prevention, while also guiding patients through weight loss, nutrition counseling, and diabetes management to support overall orthopedic recovery. Outside of the clinic, Amanda loves exploring new destinations, curling up with a good book or movie, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses are versatile clinicians in our practice. They perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions and injuries, order and interpret lab tests, perform minor procedures, and provide patient education. They extend the ability of our physicians to care for our patients. APRN is an acronym for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, meaning they have their license and have passed the National Council Licensure Exam, among other requirements, before receiving the medical license designation “APRN.”
