A long-standing provider at Fox Valley Orthopedics since 1997, Scott partners with Dr. Christopher Torosian to care for patients dealing with hand, wrist, and elbow conditions. As a board-certified physician assistant, he evaluates patients independently, manages diagnostic imaging, and assists in surgery, specializing in conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, fractures, and work-related injuries. Dedicated to advancing the profession, Scott has served as a clinical instructor for Rosalind Franklin and Midwestern Universities for over 20 years and has served two terms on Northwestern’s West Region APP Council. Outside the clinic, Scott is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys bicycling, hiking, walking his dogs, and cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks with his wife, daughter, and son.

Physician assistants are versatile clinicians in our practice. They can perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries, order and interpret lab tests, perform minor procedures, assist in surgery, and provide patient education. They extend the ability of our surgeons to care for our patients. PA-C is an acronym for Physician Assistant – Certified, meaning they have their own medical licenses and have passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying exam, among other requirements, before receiving the medical license designation “PA-C”.
